It is July already and here is another edition of our newsletter. We are sending these to everyone who created a Gingr account. We are hoping to inform everyone on what is going on at the ranch, explain our policies and enlighten everyone with information about dog behavior and our philosophies on training and care. If you don’t wish to receive these newsletter, no big deal, there is an unsubscribe button at the bottom of this email.

Today, we want to talk about something incredibly important—the nail trims for our beloved dogs.

We all know how fantastic our dogs are at bringing endless joy into our lives, and their playful nature is truly a sight to behold. However, long nails can pose various risks not only to our four-legged pals but also to our dedicated staff and other dogs in our daycare. That's why regular nail trims are an essential part of maintaining a safe and happy environment for everyone.

One of the major concerns with long nails is the potential for scratches and injuries to occur during playtime. Although our dogs love a good romp, accidents can happen when nails aren't adequately trimmed. By keeping their nails short and neat, we minimize the chances of any unintentional scratches or injuries to both the dogs and the staff.

Moreover, long nails can also lead to dogs getting their paws caught in various objects, causing discomfort and potential accidents. We want to ensure that the dogs are always safe and protected, so regular nail trims are crucial in preventing these incidents.

Beyond immediate safety concerns, there are also long-term implications for our dogs' health. If nails are left untrimmed, they can gradually affect the bone structure of the foot, leading to potential long-term damage. That's why we take nail trims seriously.

We understand that nail trims can sometimes be a challenging and stressful experience for dogs and their owners. Many pet owners have tried to trim their dog's nails at home, but it often ends up causing discomfort or pain, resulting in dogs developing fear or anxiety around the process. That's where our team of professionals steps in!

As a proud member of A Walk in the Park, you already know the many benefits of our exclusive memberships. We're thrilled to remind you that monthly nail trims are included as one of the perks of that membership. Our team members are here to take care of your dog's nail trimming needs, ensuring a safe and stress-free experience for your beloved canine companion.
