Membership based dog daycare

When it comes to motivating and training dogs, one key principle stands out: you have to be attractive and interesting to your dog. This means engaging with your dog, playing, and building a strong bond. In trainer’s language, we talk about transferring the value of what is attractive to the dog, such as food, toys, play, to you, the trainer/owner. This is where classical conditioning comes into play. The dogs can learn to associate you with the fun things it enjoys, just like Pavlov’s dogs started to associate the ringing of a bell with dinner being served!

Classical conditioning is always at play, and it can work for us and against us.  So it’s better if we deliberate about it and have the dogs work with us instead of against us. We want it to work for us in daycare. To provide the best experience for our four-legged guests, our staff need to know each dog personally and have a strong relationship with them. They, too, must be attractive to the dogs. We want to create positive associations for the dogs with our daycare counselors, the other dogs and the environment

To achieve this level of connection and ensure the best care for your dogs, we have developed our innovative membership model. Here's how it works:

  • Our membership model allows us to get to know the unique personality of every dog. We learn about their preferences, likes, and dislikes. This knowledge is invaluable in tailoring our interactions with them.

  • Armed with insights about your dog, we can effectively teach, redirect, and instill better habits. We use toys, treats, and engaging games that your dog loves to create a fun and productive learning environment.

  • Dogs attending regularly form bonds with each other and our staff. They become familiar with all the other dogs and learn who their preferred play partners are. This knowledge helps create more harmonious groups, as dogs feel comfortable engaging in activities they enjoy.Comparing our membership model to the traditional daycare approach is like night and day. In the traditional model, large groups of dogs often lack structure, and there's a constant coming and going of dogs. In such environments, dogs can easily develop bad habits because there's no opportunity for focused training and guidance.

Our new model represents a significant shift towards a superior approach to daycare. We believe that dog daycare should go back to its original mission: to improve the lives of dogs and give them a fulfilling day.

We're proud to say that our innovative membership model is doing just that. It allows us to connect with each dog individually, understand their needs, and provide a tailored, enriching experience.

Thank you for entrusting us with the care of your furry family members. We're committed to continuously improving and evolving our services to ensure the happiest and healthiest days for your dogs.

If you have any questions or would like to learn more about our membership model, please don't hesitate to reach out. We're here to assist you.
